Hello y’all may of heard of that one forbidden Danganronpa and how it pretty much revolutionized fanganronpa with its Audio drama format. But what intrigues me is that it managed to give a new format for fanganronpa while giving the option to not draw backgrounds or CG for those who only wish to write dialogue and draw sprites.

similar situation for Written Fanganronpa, for creators who empathize significantly more on writing than art, or want no art at all. Or Video format Fangans, for the creators who do everything but programming.

there are also Instagram, never saw one but I bet it has it benefits too.

I love coming up with ideas and formats that would help creators, have thought of many so far… Like Peter and the Wolf Styled, Google Forms, Google sheets… I plan on rounding up ideas to put into a video (of course credit where credit is due!)

But I wanna see what you guys can come up with, doesn’t matter if it’s top-quality or wacky and stupid. What are your format ideas for a Danganronpa storytelling?

Hello again. Out of curiosity I would like to know the gender ratio of two notable danganronpa roles.

- How many Male protagonists you’ve seen compared to female.

and

- How many female antagonists you’ve seen to male.

simply out of the Fanganronpas you’ve seen so far. Bonus if you detail how they were written. Hehe 🙏

And If there’s a gap and pattern on how they were written, why do you think creators prefer writing it this way?

Hi hello, I’m new here. I really love just calling the characters by their colours. Though, I just finished among us show and saw the VA names and just thought, man, this character’s colour and personality does fit the vibe of their VA’s name. For many of the characters. Can’t say much cause the system would think im talking about OCs but… I just thought about that. Am I the only one? I wanna know is all.

Bonus points if the case is creative!

Danganronpa cases are some of the most hardest things to write in a fangame. But is there any fanganronpa case that you’ve felt done so much research into how murders work, dead bodies work, reactions work, trials work and certain physics work?

Or generally, the closest case you know to that description.

I’ve been looking forward on speaking out about my experience in a certain community, but I’ve been so occupied and it pains me to see the days past without resolving anything. I always feel like it’s becoming too late…

Since I have an all-absorbing Danganronpa Hyperfixation, I like to use this experience to write fangan characters and narratives.

I would like to see real-world Fangan examples rather just than my daydreams. So I wonder, have you seen any? I want to indulge in some relating media. Especially Danganronpa cause like I said I… can’t really think of anything else but that. 😅

I was looking at Bristlefrost and other Warrior cat characters for bravery and courage. I want to be Braver, and speak out towards the people who hurt me fairly recently 😞.

And then I realized, there are more brave characters than just in Warrior cats. I’d like to inspire Bravery with my own Fangan characters. I was already doing so, of course, it feels great to have characters that could empower others.

So who’s your symbol of Courage and or Bravery in Fanganronpa. One’s who actions personally made you feel stronger.

It could be in a silly way, in a “holy shit” way or in a stupid way. It doesnt need to be both adjectives at the same time. You could give a simply unhinged example or a simply ridiculous one.

Balancing a cast is hard with 16+ characters. Not all characters would get the same level of screen time, yet they can still feel fulfilled and important on par with the others even if not exactly.

I have heard of the recurring problem where once a character dies, especially if they’re the victim, they are usually forgotten, brushed aside or just there.

So, have y’all seen a fangan or multiple that have made incredible and satisfying use of all their characters. This could include works that aren’t even finished yet.

y’know how before The Fangan really even starts, or have only Prologue and Chapter 1 out, there are usually these things called Prediction Charts?

People not only guess who’s gonna be victim vs Culprit, but also the exact chapter they would take on the role!!

And curious part is sometimes a strong sentiment in the WHOLE fandom guesses at least a Chapter‘s culprit or victim or both correctly :0

How does that work, how does a character screams Chapter X role among so many?

Need to know for… development reasons hehe. Like, is it normal to believe that your Killing Order is too predictable for no reason clear reason other than probably You're the creator?

I’ve been having a burst of questions lately and things I want to talk about, though I don’t want to spam the subreddit with ~10+ posts per day 😅 (Sorry if my constant appearance so far have been overbearing!!!)

There had been a few questions of character screen time balancing that I’ve witnessed. I think of character screen time balancing a lot, it really impacts my brainstorming process as I may be too hesitant on thinking of scenes/dynamics for some as I thought they’d gotten too much or too little, too obvious they were going to die or the need to compensate with early focus BECAUSE they were gonna die sooner.

However I’ve been hearing about/even personally seeing so many examples of even regarded as highly well-written fangans (P:EG, DT, DRA1, Official games, etc.) having huge problems with this, which is pretty fascinating. I thought I came up with a fine technique of assigning them all mini “relevance roles” and make chapters longer, but am I wrong? Perhaps it’d be poor pacing. Is it even possible to make satisfying roles and screentime of each character, while still keeping up the core premise intrigue? What are Y’all’s secrets?

I’ve been always overthinking and dreading how any Fangan I make would be received. If it gets popular enough especially cause it would mean whatever I do would have a huge impact.

Like Wondering a lot about making any potential fan devastated by killing or perchance ruining their comfort character. Having fan artists or cosplayers delve into a character only for it to develop into a repulsive character. Fanservice reaction, Portraying something personal to me that rubs viewers wrongly, giving the wrong message or starting a fandom war, letting them down etc.

I few times I heard that the Creator of Despair Time had to take a hiatus because Fans of a Certain character kept harassing them for killing their favourite off which is hmmmm…

So any other sorts of responses, reactions and behaviours could arise within a fandom of a Fanganronpa? I consider myself as fragile as a Window😅
