I have been intrested in making a fanganronpa since i got into danganronpa (wich was around 5 years ago) my issue is that i cant draw, then it occured to me that there are actors online that post poses (sprites) as stock images, so..

I am inclined to know if this would be an intresting concept for a fanganronpa, also this is the "cast" i have chosen so my next question is..

Out of theese charecters, what would tgere ultimates be?

Who would play what part?

(Also i am aware they look older than high school age but when youve only got so many actors to work with youve gotta try your best)

Story:
Danganronpa: Blackened Hearts takes place within The Titanomachy, a high-security megalithic prison structure based on a small, isolated island. The story follows Ariyo Aramoto, the Ultimate Sculptor, as she grapples with the inescapable and unsettling environment in which they have been placed by whoever is behind this. The prison appears to have been tampered with, alterations made to show just how well the Mastermind knows each and every one of them on a personal level. The 20 Captives now appear to be trapped within a killing game spearheaded by a three-headed hound by the name of Syzygy, each of the three heads representing Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, respectively. The captives have also been given strange greek mythological-inspired deity cards that give each captive a unique and potentially game-changing perk that can affect how the killing game plays out.

The project features several unique additions to the traditional Danganronpa format!

Theme: "What lies on the precipice of perfection is the greatest imperfection mankind will ever know."

Proof: The goal with this project is to make it a fully playable game, with chapters individually released as the project progresses. We currently have all the characters' talents and personalities, a fully planned death list, ideas and frameworks for almost every chapter, and a 50% complete prologue script.

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure this one will be the mast one lol. I kinda got rusty of doing pixel sprites and as a result almost every character is the same height lmao.

Some of the birthday art from this year for the indie game I’m working on, Die [ON AIR!]. It’s a death game visual novel with Danganronpa as one of the primary inspirations. These are six out of the eighteen cast members, each of them are celebrities in some way.

I had previously come here to ask for advice on making sprites, and I just wanted to say thank you because it was super helpful.

Once I had gotten the 3 1/2 main poses done, it only took about ten hours to make the rest of the modified sprites. it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, and it was actually really good gesture practice.

I know these sprites are really amateurish, but I'm happy with the end result. Lyra doesn't have the most elaborate design, so I expect she is going to have been the easiest to make. Now I just need to prepare myself to do it 15 more times lol

Hello y’all may of heard of that one forbidden Danganronpa and how it pretty much revolutionized fanganronpa with its Audio drama format. But what intrigues me is that it managed to give a new format for fanganronpa while giving the option to not draw backgrounds or CG for those who only wish to write dialogue and draw sprites.

similar situation for Written Fanganronpa, for creators who empathize significantly more on writing than art, or want no art at all. Or Video format Fangans, for the creators who do everything but programming.

there are also Instagram, never saw one but I bet it has it benefits too.

I love coming up with ideas and formats that would help creators, have thought of many so far… Like Peter and the Wolf Styled, Google Forms, Google sheets… I plan on rounding up ideas to put into a video (of course credit where credit is due!)

But I wanna see what you guys can come up with, doesn’t matter if it’s top-quality or wacky and stupid. What are your format ideas for a Danganronpa storytelling?

Hello again. Out of curiosity I would like to know the gender ratio of two notable danganronpa roles.

- How many Male protagonists you’ve seen compared to female.

and

- How many female antagonists you’ve seen to male.

simply out of the Fanganronpas you’ve seen so far. Bonus if you detail how they were written. Hehe 🙏

And If there’s a gap and pattern on how they were written, why do you think creators prefer writing it this way?
