What's the most clever murder method you’ve seen?
It can be clever because of the actual method, the way it uses the setting, the way the culprits plan accounts for other characters, etc

What separates a great, memorable chapter from one that's just good? Specifically the daily life portion of a chapter, instead of focusing purely on deadly life (though they'll relate, of course.)
For example, sweet and compassionate bakers are a dime a dozen (pun). How do you go about subverting expectations that come with a character's talent? Or what are some ways you’ve seen a popular/common talent used that set the character apart from other characters with the same talent?

I’ve been working on my fangan for a while now and I’m excited to finally be ready to announce it here!
Danganronpa V2: Center Stage (also referred to simply as 52 Center Stage) is a project following the 52nd killing game that Rantaro participated in before V3. The project has been in development for quite some time and I wanted to share it now that I feel it’s reached a point where I feel comfortable discussing it publicly. While the project itself is still a ways from official release, I thought I’d use this post to introduce the project and talk a little about it.
For starters, I’d like to bring up its format. This will be a fully written project, rather than a playable game. The complete story will eventually be released on AO3. It will tell its own original story and revolve around an (almost) entirely new cast of characters. Rantaro will be the protagonist. I also intend to include Tsumugi, though not in the main support role. Beyond that, I'm keeping much of the plot under wraps for the time being. I would also like to mention that while this project will stand on its own, it is also intertwined with the world of V3. The story will delve into the meta aspect that also existed in V3, though I intend for a much different route. I hope that none of that will put you off!
Additionally, the current name, Center Stage, is a working title. It may change at some point in development if I find something that I feel fits it better, but it also may stay the same.
I feel that it’s important to mention that this is a solo project. All of the writing, characters, story, etc. are being handled by me. I do plan to work with an artist I know IRL for artwork and CG, which they have agreed to. However, the speed of that will depend on their workload, and the money I can put into commissions.
Another important thing to note is that I will not begin publishing chapters until the entire work has been completed. This is to avoid what often happens with fangans, where they are put on hiatus partway through. Therefore, the story will be finished before the first chapter is released publicly. Once finished, I’m planning to release chapters on a schedule. Most likely, the prologue will be posted from the prologue through chapter two, and then switch to a weekly schedule separated by daily and deadly life. This aspect is both to space out the story and for my own ease.
There currently isn’t an estimated release date.
I’m open to receiving any questions about 52 Center Stage in the comments here, and will answer them as best I can! Some questions may get a more limited answer if they’re difficult to answer without spoilers, or if it’s something still being fleshed out, but they are still welcomed.
Thank you for reading, and stay tuned! And cause I have to say it: not affiliated with Spike Chunsoft.
Uses you’ve seen that were especially clever, memorable, or unexpected (or just in a way you liked a lot!). Something important to a case, important to a plot moment, or important in another way - what are good ways you’ve seen talents incorporated into the story?
Are there any aspects of Danganronpa that you don’t usually see fangans taking advantage of, despite thinking they have a lot of potential or could work really well?
I feel like we get a lot of posts for the opposite. Across any form (fic, game, video series), what do you like to see in a fanganronpa?
The last picture is of her as a puppy. Shes currently around 2 years. She's very energetic, is also a couch potato. She can be kind of jumpy. Sheds like mad.
