Has it every happened where your short has the lowest retention like may be 10 %, 25% or 33% kind off and then boom it took off ? Wanna see some positive stuff

The algorithm is freaking confusing me 😭
On my 43 % to 53 % stayed to watch ratio my views are between 600 to 800 and stalling. When the stayed to watch ratio is actually quite decent. Where as my 28% stayed to watch video has more views arround 2k. I am expecting that 43% to 53% stayed to watch hits more views and steady 50 to 60k. But i am confused 🤔 does this shorts still get pickedup later ?

My question is Regarding yt shorts retention graph 📈 why do shorts stall are decent stayed to watch ? But get more views on lower stayes go watch ratio ?
Why does it happen that I get more views and likes on 28 % short. Approximately 2000k views. But on 45 to 53 % stayed to watch. The views are stalling to 700to 800 everytime. I also got an engagement today but my short is stalling at it. Why is that ? Will it go up ?

Question for creators!! I never put hashtags in my title, only in the description (first 3-4) and tags. Does skipping hashtags in the title hurt visibility/views at all, or does it not matter since the algorithm reads the description + tags anyway? Thinking about taking a break from uploading shorts for a while 😤
Anybody had any positive luck when they took a break. Because at this moment i have been feeling like stepping back. I don't feel like making shorts and filming my makeup looks as the Algorithm has been so much annoying i get similar views on every short and sometimes they move slow like a turtle 🐢 which never happened. I worked so hard on a short edit and title etc then in an hour i got 50 views only and 28% stayed to watch. I was frustrated.
So i have decided to take a break and step back for a week but also want to know if any one saw positive changes in views and algorithm by giving it a break. I don't feel motivated to post full mode

Usually writing my own hooks and editing them. But lately I am feeling stuck in coming up with ideas. I most use POV style - how to , and defiance or story telling hooks. But lately I am feeling a bit meh in writing them. Since past 10 days hooks are not clicking and retention is low and I am not sure which hooks are working which are not and how to write them and come up with. I am totally confused me. So I would like to know how to write the hooks and what the process should be ?
