How do you know when a Short has plateaued before posting the next one?

Growing a Shorts channel and trying to nail the timing between uploads. Some of my videos go completely flat, others just gradually slow down and never fully stop.

How do you actually tell when it’s safe to post the next one? Is VPH the best indicator and if so what number means it’s done?

Best Short By Far🤩

Been making shorts since march, and have made around 70+ and this one is my best by far, all shorts have been consistent getting 20k, 30k and 40k views but some 100k and a few 500k

How exactly are valid public shorts views recorded?

My question is basically title, as you can see from my attached images, I have a little under 100k total views, yet my "valid public shorts" views is only 36k. I dont think its a delay in real-time data, since I had that 40k\~ spike around the 6th of June. There's no way it takes a month for this statistic to increase right? What is a valid public short view even supposed to mean?

Why didn't this Short go viral???

Here are my analytics? Retention and engagement? seem decent, but the algorithm stopped pushing it? What stands out to you, and what do you think held it back?. And did it only got 26k views and 300 likes and 9 comments why??

Is anyone else having issues with shorts?

I deleted and re-uploaded (after making a few minor changes) a couple of times for a video. Since then any videos I upload doesn't get tested to a small batch of viewers for shorts like it used to. Is anyone else having this issue?

My shorts are getting pushed anymore!

Hi guys, in need of some help. My shorts videos don’t seem to be getting pushed in the algorithm anymore and idk why.

I am still fairly new so i am aware that is possibly a factor but my past shorts have had no problems. My biggest issue was trying to push past 40k views but now my shorts a barely getting 1k. Nothing has changed and idk what the problem is.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Bodycam vids

Do you think bodycam videos would be a good niche for monetization. Because alot of channels struggle with it. Also transformation means adding value. Would then an explanation of why/what happened in the video be enough?

YT algo was not pushing my shorts so I did SEO

Recently I started my YT shorts only channel.

But just like every beginner I was getting flat views after a certain view count even with a decent engagement rate.

So, I started making shorts with titles which have low competition & high search volume.

Currently, most of the views are coming from search instead of shorts feed.

Felt like an evergreen strategy but for YT shorts.

Can someone offer me some advice on my shorts channel?

I have been running a shorts channel for quite awhile now. I just grab a simple fact image and but it over a recorded background image. I want to move to more edited and original content soon. Is my niche to broad or am I safe to go the way I am? Am I doing anything else that may be wrong? If someone would like to give some insight that would be great! I should also note that I have the same content scheduled throughout July.

Can this video get more views?

The stay to watch rate is more than 70% and it has more than 100% retention. So is there a chance that it can go viral?
