For the past week both my shorts and community posts have been suppressed with the views drastically plummeting from around 100k ( average ) to now struggling to get 100 likes on a video. For context I did private and delete one short but since then all the momentum I have built is gone and my videos aren’t being pushed at all ?
And I know I’m definitely not the only one this has happened to. What I genuinely want to understand is WHY does this happen?
Should I just give up, or can it still become successful?
I recently started creating yt shorts where i talk in front of the camera explaining things with images, videos, edits. Like why is dollar green color or why is money made of plastic but it seems that there is now much creators doing this on yt shorts.
Can this format work on yt shorts? Do you know any creator that do this and have views?

After looking and analysing all my videos, and curating them to add rehooks where retention dropped, and adding B roll to increase APV, I finally pushed my metrics to their current best with 50%stw, 73apv and its one of my LEAST viewed video & least subs.. literally why
Took me around a month to recover for a previous fall when all my videos got removed from algorithm and today I got the same problem and no one in support give me and answer.
Usually I get between 100k to 200k views hourly but after this event all my views collapse to 3k-5k. Asked to support about what happened and the answers are vague and copy-pasted.
My entire channel with more than 50 videos getting views slumped in a single minute. Twice in a month...

Hello, I'm fairly new to YouTube Shorts, but not new to content creation in general. I started a month ago focusing entirely on short-form content, and so far things are performing okay and I'm honestly having fun with it.
However, I'm still trying to get used to how the platform works, and I have a quick question about scheduling.
I’m trying to target my uploads for when my target audience is most active. The issue is, I’ve noticed that every single time I schedule a video, it gets absolutely zero traction in the Shorts Feed until about 2.5 to 3 hours (sometimes more) after it officially goes public. Before that mark, it only gets a handful of views from notifications or channel pages, and then the feed traffic suddenly kicks in.
Is this normal "incubation" time for YouTube Shorts, or am I doing something wrong?
If this is just how the platform works, how do you guys plan your scheduling? Do you pull back your posting time by 2 or 3 hours to compensate for the "delay"? Or does the actual publishing time not matter at all for Shorts because the algorithm just tests it whenever it wants?

2 years ago I was posting Shorts ans Long Term videos with very little traction.
Now my channel has over 89M views and 115K subscribers.
One thing I learned:
Consistency matters more than motivation.
Most creators quit before YouTube even figures out who to recommend their videos to.
Keep uploading.
Keep learning.
Keep improving.

I have a channel created with an old email address, but my videos aren't getting any impressions. All the verification steps were completed, the content is good, the thumbnail is good, the title is good, and yet YouTube simply doesn't deliver them, 0 impressions.
