Okay, following on from my previous post here (where I received a lot of helpful advice) .. I've compiled a 'shopping' list of what I think is needed.

Any recommendations for wholesalers to contact for prices would be great.

My friendly local electrician will be doing the work, and is happy for me to get the kit, or he's happy to get the kit.

He's estimating a day's work for two of them, for the install. It's pretty straightforward, and he actually recommended the SigEnergy kit.

Obviously looking at the list, it makes sense to go for the 6kw Controller which is only £39 more ..

All these prices are plus VAT.

Batteies / Inverter / Controller advice

Hi,

Looking to install approx 12kw of SigEnergy batteries to my house.

Not going for Solar panels this year, as can take advantage of my 5p Kw/h off peak rate between 2300 and 0500 ..

Trying to make sense of SigEnergy's products though ... a bit of a head scratcher.

Apart from 2 (?) batteries, what else is needed ? An Inverter (Smart) and Controller ?

Plan on charging up the batteries off-peak, then running the house of them .. also have an EV with an Ohme charger.

Will probably get Solar panels next year, not a priority at the moment as I'm not South facing.

Any pointers / part numbers / recommendations most welcome

OneClick App Costs

Just curious as to the OneClick app costs ?

Thinking of getting one for my wife’s ID3 and activating High Beam Assist.

VW will activate for me, for a charge of £135.00.

Who’s cheaper ?
