My Dahlia’s are a little late to bloom but are all starting to bud now. Very excited to see how they all turn out.

Seed recommendations?!

I'm still fairly new to growing larger cut flower gardens. For the past three years, I've had a 4x40 cut flower bed filled with zinnias, cosmos, and dahlias, and it's been incredibly successful. I've made countless bouquets to give away to any woman I can think of. Bringing a little beauty and encouragement to others has become such a joy and a meaningful ministry for me.

This spring, my husband helped me expand the garden significantly. We added four more 4x80 rows, and I planted zinnias, sunflowers, dahlias, strawflowers, celosia, cosmos, and several filler flowers. I ordered from Eden Brothers for the first time this year and had mixed results, even though I followed the planting instructions on the seed packets.

I'm planning on saving seeds from some of this year's flowers, but I'm curious what seed companies everyone else recommends. I'd love to hear what you've had the best success with for cut flowers. I truly appreciate any advice or recommendations you have. Thank you so much!

Escrow increase

I’m curious how much everyone’s Escrows are going up every year.

We bought our house in 2020 for $340k at 2.7% interest. Every year are escrow has gone up, resulting in our monthly payment going up an average of $100 per month every year we have lived here. Our escrow payment is roughly $700 a month more expensive than when we bought our house.

I tell my husband that we are escrow poor.

Edit to add: I appreciate all the comments. I should have added, that I already know that the escrow going up is because taxes and insurance have gone up.

I am just curious how much everyone else’s has gone up.
