Vintage Brio train doesn't fit modern track?

Hi! I'm an old granny trying to put together a wooden train layout for my toddler grandson. ( I bought a KidKraft layout - pls don't judge - it's fine for my purposes) My vintage childhood Brio trains don't fit on the modern tracks - the Brio train wheels are too wide! I don't have new Brio trains to compare but I keep reading that KidKraft is compatible with Brio so I wonder if old Brio trains & tracks were wider than the modern Brio? Appreciate any input! (I also attached photos of other vintage trains & tracks I have - none are marked but there are 2 different size tracks - one set fit my vintage Brio trains..the other vintage tracks fit my old Skaneteties/Playskool and Snap trains. I'm confused!

What Echo device would replace my 1st Gen Amazon Echo the quit on me today?

Hi - My 1st Gen Amazon Echo (2014) quit on me today and I spent hours and hours with Echo reps/customer service and YouTubes. Nothing could fix it. It's responsive and connected to wi-fi but upon resetting, I get the blue light but then it switches to a neon green having to do with phone calls meaning someone is trying to call me, drop in or I'm on a call. None of these is true I have never used the device to receive or make phone calls, so the device is toast it seems. I am here to ask which current Echo device would replace my Amazon Echo? I want one that his plugged into the wall outlet again if possible. Tks!
