I want to share my experience because I couldn’t find this solution anywhere, and maybe it helps someone going through the same situation.
My account was suspended 1 year ago, and I submitted multiple appeals. Over time, I received at least 6 emails from X saying that my account had been restored.
However, every time I tried to log in, it still showed as suspended. Nothing changed.
I opened several tickets and contacted support multiple times, but nothing worked. I even spoke to Premium Support agents (Dean and Leo), but my issue wasn’t resolved.
What finally worked:
I subscribed to X Premium and contacted support again. The agent (Frank) asked for:
- The email linked to my account
- The phone number linked to my account
- A screenshot of the “account restored” email, showing the email address it was sent to
After I provided that, he said he would check with another team.
Shortly after, my account was restored for real. They told me it was a “misunderstanding”.
So if you are stuck in a loop where X says your account is restored but it’s still suspended, try this:
Contact Premium Support
Be ready to provide your account email and phone
Send proof (screenshots) that your account was marked as restored
This seems to be a technical issue that requires escalation to another team.
