Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. You might be wondering how these fake Roblox scam links actually work, I am here to break it down for you all.

THE TRICK MESSAGE

Scammers will you send a link, and say something like

''join my game!''

''Add me''

''My main is in my bio copy it all below ( if you use elvebredd or amvgg, you will notice this)

THE FAKE ROBLOX WEBSITE

At first glance, the link may look real, but unfortunately it's not. these fake links usually have ''roblox.ex'' or some sort of weird letter hidden. The real website link for Roblox always has ''roblox.com''. Scammers create this fake domain website, copying the Roblox logo, the colour scheme, buttons and log in page. Just imagine a website maker but they use it to make fake Roblox sites instead. This website looks legit but it is a scam site, controlled by the scammer. Users tend to miss this and click the link by mistake. Usually only clicking the link does not mean your account will be hacked, however if you had added your username and password. Unfortunately there is a chance you may get hacked. Always read the url everyone

STEALING YOUR LOG IN

When you enter/type your username and password into the fake website, the information you handed over get sent to the scammer. On their end of the screen they will see Username, Password, Email (sometimes I believe).

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT

1. DOUBLE CHECK THE URL if it looks weird in the slightest DO NOT click it.
2. TURN ON 2 STEP VERIFICATION
3. DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY SKETCHY ROBLOX EXTENSIONS (I know having a fancy looking Roblox page sounds exciting and fun, but even these extensions have malware built into them.)
4. DO NOT SHARE YOUR COOKIES (Small files which store your personal user data)

I hope this gives everyone an insight on how Roblox fake links work, always be careful out there. This scam link has been going on for a while, unfortunately people still get hacked/scammed because of this. Stay safe everyone <3

Hello everyone. Recently I have been seeing a lot of posts of users losing their pets due to being hacked/scammed. I have decided to make an informative post, so users are safe. I may miss some scams out so if I have please feel free to share it down below.

1. The fake link scam

This scam has unfortunately been going on for a while. If you don't know this scam is where a user will trick another player into clicking a link that may seem like the real Roblox website, when you click the link it redirects you to what seems to be the official Roblox log in page, users then enter their details and sometime later log into adopt me only to see their beloved items have been stolen.

Why does this happen?

Well you see, the link it's not a real Roblox link, if it says ''Roblox.ug'' or Roblox.ex'' It is not the real Roblox website, instead it is a fake scam link hackers use as a way to disguise it into looking like the real Roblox website. Unfortunately when you enter your username and password into the website, it gets sent over to the hacker, who then use it to enter your account

2. The cookie monster

This scam isn't actually called the cookie monster scam, but it involves stealing site cookies, if you are confused and don't know what cookies are let me explain. They are small little files every website has which store vital information such as login credentials. If another user somehow gets a hold of this, your details are pretty much shown and thy can use that to access your Roblox account or any account really this just does not apply for just Roblox.

Why it happens?

Cookie grabbing can happen when someone sends you a fake link, so this goes hand in hand with the first one, but another method I have seen hackers use is the 3D model scam, they will show you a tutorial on ''importing your Roblox avatar'' for a free gfx but this is a trick into grabbing your cookies, DO NOT SEND ANYONE ANYTHING!. Besides if they really were genuine and wanted your Roblox avatar for a gfx you can just tell them you user and they can look it up themselves.

3. Avoid having an easily guessed password

Again this is not a scam, however your password should not be something easy like ''cat123'' that is really simple and can be guessed quite have a password that looks like ''techdin0#367@'' , I made that up please don't judge lol. Make sure your password is at least 8 characters have 1 capital letter and 1 small, make sure to include a special character!

How to avoid!

Firstly I highly recommend reading the URL first the official Roblox URL always has roblox.com not roblox.ug or roblox.ex , DO NOT send anyone any avatar import just to be on the safe side , MAKE YOUR PASSWORD STRONG ENOUGH , always keep 2 step verification on , I recommend the Microsoft authenticator app. If you believe you have clicked a fake link and entered your details IMMEDIATELY CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD and if you notice any unusual activity you can log out of session from any unknown devices you may not recognise in settings.
