We have the main AV equipment for Atmos (Denon AVRX3800H and Panasonic DP-UB820), but our speakers are merely 5.1 (which sounds great for 5.1).  All of the speakers were built into the walls in 1999 (except for the sub), so they can’t be physically height or direction adjusted.  Someday we’ll be remodeling and will include a proper setup in that.

In the meantime, is there an economical way to convert this to Atmos or something close enough to it to get us by until the remodel?  I realize this would require us to at least get one more speaker of some sort that can bounce off the ceiling. (Edit: There are some Denon settings that sound like they could replicate that effect, but it's difficult for me to decipher.)

I'm on Xbox Series X and have progressed far into the game.

This is the first Bethesda game where I've used any extras like creations. So, I don't have any experience with this.

I last played on 5/5/26, so today when I went to play, it first did a game update and then an update to the Terran Armada install.

When I was finally able to launch the game, I first went to the Creations menu and found that all the creations I had been using were disabled.  Being unsure of the safest way to proceed, I backed out of Creations, but then it updated my save files.  So, I just quit the game until I know what I should be doing.  I never loaded any of the saves.

I know that some of them should be updated first.  I’ve read in a few places that using the global update function in the Creations menu doesn’t work as intended.  However, I know I can check version numbers to know which need to be updated.

But what’s the correct or safest way to update those?  I’ve seen where I can simply go to an individual creation page in the Creations menu and select update.  I’ve also seen where I should delete the creation and re-download it.  I’m also unclear as to when/if I should be quitting the game and restarting the XSX during this process.  

I’m also unclear as to when I should be loading a save. Same for re-enabling… when?  I’m confused about this process.
