This actually confused me for a really long time when playing WLK. It's funny how no matter how satisfied or unsatisfied they are, they never keep the katamari.

Martini, Linguine, Undyne (I really thought her name was said like that for a while)

Native speakers, what common and relatively easy words did you mispronounce and/or misspell as a child? (Not as a little kid, but age 7 or older)

There are several words that I did not correct until I was at least 11-14 years old, such as

samwich instead of sandwich
hypmotist instead of hypnotist
entertaiment instead of entertainment (I just didn't hear or see the n)
bolth instead of both (ALSO soulth and moulth)
hampster instead of hamster

Personally I think these are the words that probably could have evolved to change pronunciation and/or spelling if we didn't have mass literacy/sound-based media. I know I've heard many fellow American adults struggle with these words the same way. I think my own mother was responsible for this in me, but eventually I figured out how not to talk like her.
