New to RepTime Malaysia — Looking for Advice on My First GMT
Hey everyone,
I'm relatively new to the rep watch scene and I'm currently thinking about getting my first GMT watch.
I've been looking at the Rolex GMT-Master II Batgirl (126710BLNR), but I'm still trying to understand the different factories, movements and batches.
I've seen people mention VSF, Clean, Dandong 3285 and different versions/batches, but honestly there is a lot of information out there and it can get quite confusing for a beginner.
For those who have experience with the 126710BLNR:
- Which factory/batch would you recommend currently?
- Is the Dandong 3285 considered a good movement for this model?
- Are there any major differences between the commonly available versions?
- What should a beginner pay attention to when choosing one?
5.is there any physical hidden shops that I can visit ?
I'm based in Malaysia, so I'm also interested in hearing from local members about their experience and what I should be careful about when buying.
I'm not in a rush to purchase anything. I'd rather do some research first and make sure I understand what I'm getting.
