Tested on Thursday, 25 June. When should I expect my results?
Please
Please
I have been scoring consistently around 28–29/42 in Listening and Reading, and I seem to be stuck at this level despite regular practice. I would appreciate your advice on how I can break this plateau and improve my score.
Up up up
I just took Step 2 CK and honestly felt like I underperformed. A lot of questions felt vague or like 50/50 choices, and I left feeling pretty bad about it.
My practice exam scores were around 240–250 range, but I’m not sure how predictive that really is compared to how the actual test felt.
For those who already took it:
Did you feel similarly after the exam?
Did your real score end up close to your practice scores, or different?
Is this “feeling bad” common even for people who score well?
Would really appreciate hearing your experiences.
Any tips please to solve the murmur question (STEP 2 CK)
Hello please help me
NBME 12 - 245 - 23/5
NBME 13 - 248 - 28/5
NBME 14 - 244 - 31/5
NBME 15 - 239 - 7/6
NBME 16 - 251 - 18/6
The real deal is the next week!!
In this case , is getting 255 possible and easy, or what?
What NBME 16 score did you get vs your actual Step 2 score?
Is 250+ still achievable? Looking for advice/write-ups.
Hey everyone,
I’m currently in dedicated and scheduled to take Step 2 CK on **June 25th** (in about 18 days). My ultimate goal is **250+**, but my recent scores have left me feeling a bit anxious and second guessing my strategy.
**NBME 12:**242
**NBME 13:** 249
**NBME 14:** 245
**UWSA 2:** 235
**NBME 15 (Taken today):** 240
**My Plan for the next few days:**
1 Deep review of NBME 15 mistakes tomorrow.
2 Doing the **Amboss 200 High-Yield Concepts** over the next 2 days to recalibrate my brain to classic, high-yield presentations and fix the overthinking.
3 Taking NBME 16 on June 18th as my final major benchmark.
I’ve reviewed NBME 15 in detail and analyzed my mistakes. Out of 20 incorrect questions, a large portion were not due to lack of knowledge, but due to decision-making issues:
\* 5 questions were very easy, and I actually knew the correct answer but changed it for a “bad reason”
\* 3 were due to overthinking
\* 7 were due to small details that made me second-guess and switch answers
\* 5 were questions I originally got right but changed to incorrect
**Questions for the community:**
1 For those who scored 250, did you experience a similar dip on NBME 15 or UWorld self-assessments? How predictive is NBME 15's harsh curve compared to the real deal?
2 Is my plan to hit Amboss 200 before NBME 16 solid for fixing overthinking?
3 Any specific write-ups or advice on how to transition from the 240s to the 250+ bracket in the final 2 weeks?
