Also, for anyone who is in job search mode, how has your experience been?

Hey y’all,

I know the job market is absolutely trash right now, but I’m curious how y’all think job hopping is viewed these days? And what counts as job hopping?

I’ve worked 4 jobs in 8.5 years, and I’m starting to look for a new role. I worry about recruiters seeing me as a perpetual job hopper, but I don’t know if that stigma is still a thing?

I will add that I’m in nonprofit fundraising, and the avg tenure in the field is 16-18 months. I’m looking to break out of this world entirely, so I’m not sure how my history/trajectory will look to other industries!
