Can Belarus be brought into the fold?

For anyone familiar with the European diplomacy, is there any likelihood that Belarus can be calved off from the Russian sphere of influence?

I believe that they are under almost all the same sanctions that Russia is under; are there people thinking about how they could be brought into the European community, either with promises of aid, or easing sanctions, etc? Offering Lushenko immunity from any prosecution it her agrees to retire? Or are we just going to have to wait for him to die?

Curious if anyone has any insight into this; other than the fact that it is Putin's only ally in the region, I know next to nothing about the country.

Help me find a viral video, please - man with one hand, Gardiner St?

It's a video of a guy standing in a doorway in Gardiner St (in pretty sure). Two kids are threatening him, one of whom has a knife. Your man kind of gees himself up and runs at the kid with the knife - CREAMS him into a bollard. It's at this point you can see that your man is missing a hand. He takes off in traffic, and the kid who had the knife is crying, shuffles off. It's really funny and satisfying, hope someone has a link.

How was Artie able to stay friends with Tony & Sil after the Davey Scatino bust-out?

Charmaine Bucco was one of the few characters on the show with real backbone. She would have known Davey Scatino and his wife and kids, possibly the brother-in-law. How could she allow Artie to stay on friendly terms with Tony and the rest of the glorified crew after they took her childhood friend for everything he had?

Poem read on the radio the day of the Omagh bombing?

I was at a campsite in Donegal the day of the Omagh bombing. All of the adults were stood around their cars, listening to the news on the radio. At one point during the coverage, a lady read out a poem about Pandora's box - something about "the box, and once they had took off the locks", something like that. The general thrust of it being once you embark on the road of violence, it's self-perpetuating and there's no going back.

If someone remembers this broadcast and knows what the poem was, do please tell me. Its been on my mind, on and off, for almost 30 years

*big pots for your plants- sorry, typo

Most of mine come from Gare du Midi or Ikea, trying to broaden my repertoire a bit. Looking for something other than classic terracota, I suppose.

Thanks!
