Titán from CMLL is already a member but I'd love to see Shingo Takagi and Kross beat the absolute tar out of each other, along with Jeff Cobb facing Labron Kozone myself.

How are we feeling about Fightland?

I have my hesitations towards Masha, but the match was very sound, I wish she didn't kick out of the frostbite though. I hope Lady Frost does manage to get a singles match with Shotzi at some point soon. I really enjoyed the Don Gato Danny McBride ad, they're slowly becoming something I look forward to. And the main event tag match was a fun story driven match between 3 excellent wrestlers and an unproven Josh Bishop, I loved the opening exchange, and despite the short length and limited spots, the build for an exhausted Mistico finally tagging in Aries who's been avoiding him all match was done very very well. Bishop as this unhinged rookie is great, I really hope he gets to shine sooner than later in singles matches. It wasn't some technical classic, or spotfest getting star ratings from other fans, but it told a fun story with a satisfying payoff having Aries get caught by Kross and tapping out for the finish after weeks and weeks of him having no comeuppance and it was a match I wish I saw live.

MLW feels really solid right now, how do y'all feel? What did you think of Fightland?

"The Danger Prone", an injoke turned sandwich for my clumsyness. a grilled cheese sandwich topped with bacon, 2 hard fried eggs with salt, pepper and old bay with the heel grilled in the bacon grease with shredded cheddar on one side. "It ain't a danger prone if you made it correctly"

Well, this timing couldn’t be better. MLW is officially coming to Tubi. Starting tonight.

Literally minutes after I posted about how much fun I had at Fightland and told everyone to start paying attention to MLW, The Hollywood Reporter reported that MLW Fusion will begin streaming live and FREE on Tubi tonight at 8 PM ET, with new episodes every Thursday.

This is big for MLW. Tubi has 110 million monthly active users, giving MLW a potentially massive new audience without asking fans to buy another subscription or sign up for some obscure platform. (Looking at you, WatchAEW.)

And there’s some history here. This is essentially the Tubi deal MLW was supposed to get five years ago. MLW alleged that WWE pressured Tubi into backing out because of WWE’s relationship with Fox at the time. MLW eventually sued WWE, and WWE paid $20 million to settle the case. Now, five years later, MLW finally lands on Tubi anyway.

After seeing the product live Saturday, I can’t think of a better time for this. MLW has quietly assembled a hell of a roster, the shows are fun, the crowds are hot, and the product feels fresh without trying to reinvent professional wrestling.

If you’ve been complaining that wrestling needs a strong alternative outside WWE and AEW, here you go.

Give MLW a shot tonight.

I’ve been to 100+ wrestling shows. MLW Fightland was one of the best nights I’ve ever had at one.

And that includes several WrestleManias, Royal Rumbles, Raws, WCW shows, ECW shows, AEW shows, TNA shows, and just about everything in between. I’ve supported alternative wrestling for most of my life. I ran ECW Central, a pretty popular ECW fan site back in the ’90s. I was a TNA Day 1 fan, an AEW Day 1 supporter, and I’ve always wanted there to be something outside WWE worth getting excited about.

Last Saturday in Charleston, MLW reminded me exactly why. Fightland was an absolute fucking blast.

Top to bottom, MLW is the best wrestling product out there right now that isn’t WWE. It’s fresh, it’s fun, and it feels like a wrestling promotion putting on a wrestling show for wrestling fans. Frankly, it’s everything I wanted AEW to become. Everyone on that card worked their asses off and gave that crowd everything they paid for and more.

Killer Kross is a main event guy. Period. Seeing him live only reinforced what a travesty it is that he never reached that level in WWE.

Matt Riddle, the Good Brothers, Shotzi, Austin Aries, Templario, Mistico, Trevor Lee, Dijak, Josh Bishop, Zamaya, Joe Coffey, Diego Hill and everyone else busted their asses. There wasn’t a point where it felt like anyone was phoning it in.

And I know this one will piss some people off, but as controversial as Austin Aries is, the guy is still one of the best professional wrestlers on the planet. Watching him work live only reinforced that for me.

I went into Fightland excited to finally see MLW in person and left a much bigger fan than I was going in. If you’ve written MLW off, forgotten about it, or simply haven’t bothered checking it out, give MLW Fusion on YouTube a shot.

For those Midcarders already watching: what is MLW getting right that the bigger promotions aren’t?

What do you think so far of Shotzi, her title reign, and how MLW have presented the Featherweight division so far?

I think given the limitations of the format they've given a decent spotlight not only to Shotzi, with her numerous singles matches, segments and matches not only with other women like Lady Frost, Shoko Nakajima but with men like Dijak and Dyer. But to also spotlight the burgeoning women's division, it needs more 'signees' (whatever that means to MLW these days) and long term stays if it's wants to keep building momentum. The Blanchard debacle aside (I missed it between accounts) I hope MLW keeps attempting to get freelancers to appear on their cards.
