Bad pic. DELICIOUS Texas toast! Thick cut garlic bread with melted mozzarella dipped into arrabiata

Edit: Texas toast is extra-thick sliced white bread, usually buttered or slathered with garlic butter on both sides, sometimes with parsley, Parmesan, or other seasonings. Then it’s grilled, pan-fried, or baked until the outside is crisp and golden while the inside stays soft and fluffy. The extra thickness is what lets it get crispy without drying out.

My version is basically cheesy garlic bread meets grilled cheese, with all the flavors of a spicy cheese pizza.
