Unpopular opinion - Daisy was in the wrong for so much of this season and the bagel nonsense really solidified it for me. If you ordered a bagel, why wouldn’t you go get the bagel? Also, who is in charge of the walkie talkies? At what point should they be replaced or someone figure out why they don’t work?
Anyone else prefer to read Reddit posts about these episodes rather than actually watch them? I've FF'd so much that I am down to 5 minutes of actual content per episode. And that's me being generous. Not only are the storylines boring and repetitive, but they're also predictable.
My guess: If Daphne and Carter don't break up, then I see Carter and Steffy cheating once she becomes their surrogate. She'll already be having trouble with Finn because he wants to give Sheila a chance. So, Steffy and Carter will "bond" over her carrying his child. If not, then Daphne and Carter will probably break up (at least briefly) because of some asinine notion that she cannot be a mother unless she gets pregnant.
My hope: Daphne and Carter adopt. This will bring Carter and Zende closer because of his adoption background, and Zende will be the godfather. Carter will remember that he actually has a brother who was adopted (Marcus Forrester should come back). And the storyline will focus on the difficulties of adoption, as well as the joys of creating a family through this method.
Why doesn’t B&B utilize the other Forrester/Logan grandchildren? Is it because they want to force the narrative that the Logans and the Forrester aren’t family? When in actuality, they are one big, blended family. And if they were to bring back characters like Logan, Lizzie, and Rosie, they would have to confront the fact that there are a lot more commonalities and connections between the two families.
I find it frustrating that they do not utilize these characters, as there are so many interesting storylines they could do. Beth and Lizzie would be around the same age. Why couldn’t they be best friends and interns at FC? Nicole could come back and be Lizzie's guardian. Then that opens her up to having a love interest - maybe with Finn. He could appreciate her selflessness compared to Steffy’s ruthlessness.
Donna could finally spend time with her own grandchild instead of always taking care of other people’s children. With Rosie’s return, that could bring back Marcus, who could go to Logan and be the shipping expert like Thorne was at FC.
Then there is Logan, who is Brooke’s first surviving grandkid, and we almost never hear about him. This could bring back Bridget more (although AJ is on BTG). There are so many options, and B&B just WASTES the potential.
