Team Game Modes?

Team Game Modes?

Has anyone tried a king of the hill, point capture or a capture the flag 2v2 game mode? I’ve been thinking about trying it out because I think it could be a lot of fun. If you have and your group had a good time let me know if you have rule sets or maps your recommend or anything like that!

New to painting minis

Like a lot of us, I played heroscape as a kid and loved it. Rediscovered it in my parents basement recently, came here, and now super excited the game is back!

I purchased a new unpainted battle box that was on sale for $20 so I figured I’d give painting a shot.

So far I’ve purchased the heroscape paint set, army paints primer, and a painting handle.

Do you have any tips or things I need to get into painting? I’m fine spending a few bucks but I don’t want to sink a ton of money into it just in case I suck at painting and hate it lol. Then I’ll go back to buying pre-painted 🤣

Thanks for your help!

Is the game growing at all?

It seems like only the people that played the OG heroscape are buying the new stuff and continuing to play. Most of my local shops either don’t carry the new stuff or they’re selling it at discount to get it off the shelves. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing anything different. I hope so it grows someday!

TLDR; PLL video game = growth for the sport and the league.

Genuinely I think the PLL is doing very well marketing the sport to kids. What’s the best thing about pro sports? Lifelong die hard fans. So the strategy of getting these kids invested so the league grows with them I think is perfect.

Recently, Lacrosse26 launched. An indie lacrosse sim video game. Small budget, basic sports game. I’m really hoping people buy it and show some love.

Now when I was I kid, I never played basketball, but I become obsessed with the NBA because of NBA2K. Kids love video games / player ratings / customization / and being able to make your team the best.

With how progressive the PLL has been, why don’t they throw a bone to “lacrosse 26” and do a partnership? Send some funding and help develop a PLL video game. I feel like even just slapping PLL teams and names onto the existing video game would instantly skyrocket its sales and grow the game.

I feel like this is a no brainer win-win for both sides?
