We were pretty happy with Burbank Elementary overall until this year when my 5th grader was "taught" almost entirely by a Chromebook, we are also concerned about his eventual move to middle school as Winton doesn't have a great reputation. We also have a 3rd grader and don't want him to have the same experience.

Does anyone have any experience they can share with the charter or private schools in the area? The one closest to us is KIPP in San Lorenzo, but I'm reading a lot of negative stuff about the brand overall.
