Last night, I landed on a flight from Dublin at 7:44pm and my bag came onto the carousel at 9:32pm

NO ONE was giving updates

NO ONE said anything

I went up to the bloke who told me the delay is because:

Swissport, Ryanair and Aer Lingus have a deal that when a flight lands, passengers are offloaded and then the bags are. The next flight is loaded with baggage and passengers.

Then, WHEN THE FLIGHT TAKES OFF, the bags are delivered.

Because we landed from Dublin and the next flight back was an hour delayed, we spent almost 2 hours waiting for our baggage.

Given that there's nothing to do in the baggage hall, it was a long and uncomfortable wait.

Has anyone else experienced this?
