Twenty years ago, I left the UK and made America my home. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel from coast to coast and through (almost) every State. I always get up early to walk and see the very best in every city, town, and community I visit.

What I’ve learned is that America is only as beautiful as it is because of the people who live here. The kindness, optimism, pride, and sense of community are what make this country truly special.

I’ll always be English…ALWAYS, but I’m proud to call this great nation home.

Since its launch, the Christopher Ward Bel Canto Lumière has become one of the most well received Bel Cantos that we have ever created.

The Super-LumiNova on the platine and the incredible Globolight® ring around the dial transforms the watch after dark, but for me, one of its greatest strengths is just how beautiful it looks during the day. There really is nothing else like it.

That’s why I had to see the new Bel Canto Lumière Nova in the metal. Is it different? Absolutely. Is it just as captivating? Without question.

I’m delighted to say that our New York City showroom now has a sample in hand, and the team has captured some fantastic wrist shots and side-by-side comparisons that perfectly showcase what makes these pieces so special. Speaking with Dan, Marta, Thomas, and Alexis, they all share the same view: having two distinct expressions within the Lumière family gives collectors a genuine choice, and that’s something they love.

Each tells a different story in the daylight, yet both celebrate everything that makes the Bel Canto so elegant and refined. When night falls, they come alive in a way that truly showcases the innovation behind this model. From the illuminated dial and movement architecture right through to the luminous strap, it’s simply brilliant.

I genuinely can’t decide which one I prefer.

Our Chicago Christopher Ward showroom turns one month old today, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than welcoming Redbar Chicago to Fulton Market for a truly special evening.

Redbar has always meant a great deal to me personally, and the support that every RedBar chapter around the world continues to show Christopher Ward is something we never take for granted.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us tonight, shared stories, tried on watches, and helped make our first event in Chicago so memorable.

This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back again soon.

Today was an incredible day in Dallas as I watched England v Croatia at the World Cup!!

The Dallas stadium (AT&T) is truly spectacular on any day but it felt so SO different to a regular NFL crowd … the England fans did themselves proud.
My wife and I absolutely loved it.

I wore the Loco and it looked great in the Texas sun but I saw so many incredible watches at the game. All the big brands you’d expect but I also saw a few CWs. Sealander Auto, a Pan Am AND I saw the Bilbao LE that was made to commemorate Tottenham Hotspurs Europa League win in 2025!

Which ever Country you are following in the World Cup, I hope you enjoy your day as much as I did today!

Basketball was never a sport I really followed (Pistons are fun but the Tigers, Red Wings and Lions always won out for my time) but being in NY this weekend was incredible. As someone who LOVES a football ⚽️ team (Aston Villa) who hasn’t won much in my lifetime and seeing them FINALLY lift a trophy this season, I was so so happy for every New York Knicks fan!

Tonight was one of the most powerful events I’ve ever had the privilege of hosting.

In our New York showroom, Christopher Ward was presented with a piece of the Twin Towers by some very special friends of the brand. It’s an extraordinary honor and one that carries immense meaning and responsibility.

Many of you know that we work closely with military squadrons on both sides of the Atlantic and around the world. We are also proud partners of Shields & Stripes (www.shieldsandstripes.org ) and when those worlds came together at the Shields & Stripes Gala in Las Vegas last year, I could never have imagined the relationships that would be formed or the impact it would have on me personally.

Together, the Christopher Ward community helped raise more than $100,000 for Shields & Stripes last year, supporting veterans, first responders, and those who dedicate their lives to serving others. As a result of that relationship, we were entrusted with a piece of American/world history that will now have a permanent home in our SoHo showroom.

Tonight was about remembrance, service, sacrifice, and community. But it was also a celebration as we gathered alongside members of the FDNY, military veterans, first responders, and friends of the brand to remember those we lost on September 11th and to recognize those who continue to serve today.

People often say that watches bring communities together. Tonight was a powerful reminder that they truly do.

This is an evening I will carry with me for a very long time.

I am really looking forward to my next event in the mid west … it actually is NOT in the Chicago Christopher Ward showroom - it’s in the great state of Ohio!

On June 18th, Christopher Ward will be hosting our first-ever event in Columbus, Ohio alongside the brilliant team from Watcherspod Due:Time!

I have never had the opportunity or pleasure to spend time with the Columbus watch community before, so I’m excited to finally make the trip and meet some of the collectors and enthusiasts who make this hobby so much fun.

As always I will have a great selection of Christopher Ward watches available to experience hands-on, some great drinks will be served … I’ll also give a small presentation about the brand’s journey over the past 22 years, what we’re working on today, and where we are headed in the future.

The event is on June 18, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Oh WOW!!

The Calgary watch community was simply incredible last night.

We found a beautiful restaurant with an event space called Starbelly and it was perfect. Natural light, cocktails aplenty, and a watch crowd that was so excited to see our watches — many for the very first time ever — in the metal.

We had attendees from RedBar Calgary, forum members, CWE Facebook members, TGN listeners, people from Reddit, and the guys from a local watch podcast called Watch You Talkin’ About … everyone was welcome, and I was truly blown away by the reaction to the collection.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us, and a big thank you to Lance for helping out as you always do.

Final prep is well underway for our Chicago showroom as we welcome those first appointments in tomorrow!!

The building we are in is 103 years old and a true testament to the history of Fulton Market. We’ve retained so much of its character including one of the old cold storage doors, the original brick and a feeling that only buildings like this can have.

One of the most exciting parts of opening a new Christopher Ward showroom is the people who will bring it to life every single day and I genuinely could not be more proud of the team leading our new Chicago home in Fullton Market.

Leading the showroom as Showroom Manager is Greg Trotter. Many of you may already know Greg from his time with the wonderful Oak & Oscar brand, where he became such a respected and familiar face within the watch community. Greg brings an incredible balance of warmth, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm to every interaction, and getting to know him throughout this process has been fantastic. From the very beginning, it felt obvious that he was the perfect person to lead this very special room.

Alongside Greg is Jane Agler, who will be joining us as our Showroom Sales Associate — you are going to love meeting her. Jane is one of the most engaging people I’ve ever met. Her energy is infectious, her love of people is genuine, and her passion for music, sports and — most importantly — the city of Chicago shines through in every conversation!

What makes our showroom experience special is that every appointment is intentionally personal. These visits are by appointment and that’s by design. We want you to slow down, take your time, explore the collection properly and find the Christopher Ward that feels right for you. But beyond the watches, we hope these appointments become conversations - a chance to ask questions, share stories, get to know the team and simply enjoy spending time together.

I’m also sharing a few photos from inside the showroom over the past few weeks of construction as everything starts to come together … and it’s honestly going to be beautiful. The natural light pouring into the room and the views overlooking Fulton Market make it feel incredibly special already.

Most importantly though, it’s the people inside the room that will make it memorable.

Chicago has been a hugely important city for Christopher Ward for many years. We’ve loved spending time there attending events like Windup Watch Fair and Minutes & Hours, hosting activations across the city and meeting collectors from not only Chicago itself, but the entire Midwest region. Every visit reinforced the same feeling: this was a city where Christopher Ward belonged.

Choosing Fulton Market for this showroom felt incredibly natural. I still remember walking the neighborhood with the team a couple of summers ago and immediately falling in love with the energy of the area. There’s history there, but also momentum. Incredible restaurants and bars sit alongside long-standing bakeries and family businesses that have been part of the neighborhood for generations. At the same time, you have some of the most exciting modern businesses and creative companies in America calling Fulton Market home. That blend of heritage, ambition and authenticity felt very aligned with Christopher Ward.

What makes me most proud, though, is that this showroom will be led by people from Chicago — people who genuinely understand the local watch community and the culture of this city. Through bespoke appointments, events and everyday conversations, we hope this space becomes more than a showroom.
