C63 sealander GMT vs C60 trident GMT

Hello everyone,

After lots of research, i decided to hop in and buy my first CW watch (and my first GMT watch as well) as part of my collection

Im torn between the C63 sealander, and the C60 Trident

Both the white dials, 40 mm or 39 mm I’m fine with.

Love the trident blue and white bezel, but feel like the sealander coule be for casual as well as dressy occasions unlike trident being more leaning towards casual ones

Love to hear your feedback and experience and why

Thanks

Bronze - love or hate?

I don’t see enough bronze in the wild. This watch is brilliant! The gradient from black to brown on the dial is killer. It’s such a great casual desk diver on the weathered leather strap. Anybody else have a bronze CW?

My two CW’s

I’ve owned the C700 since 2014, and just picked up the Lumiere a month ago.

C1 Jump Hour!!!!

Picked up the C1 Jump Hour Mk V from the Christopher Ward Boutique in New York! They said it was the last model available in the US, though I know they had the floor model which I’m sure they’ll probably get future permission to sell.

Still very happy about it numbered out of 150 total, so I feel honored to have it. It was very spur of the moment because I really went in for one of the Trident models for an every day beater. As the rep was talking to me I picked it out of the display and tried it on and loved it on first wear.

Definitely happy to add to my collection.

C1 Moonphase 37 - Glorious

Had my eye on this one for a while and after selling my C63 Celeste 36mm, I sprung for this one during the sale. It’s amazing.

30 x 30 on the beach

There are some watches that just seem to belong exactly where you’re wearing them.

The Trident 30×30 on the wrist here in Miami, with the ocean beside me and that early morning South Beach light, feels pretty perfect.

I love this part of the world. I’ve been coming here for 25 years and there’s something special about a morning walk by the water that makes the whole idea behind 30×30 feel very real — and very hopeful.

Alongside the incredible Blue Marine Foundation, we’re working towards protecting 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030. Christopher Ward donates 2% of sales to Blue Marine, with an additional £30 from every Trident 30×30 going directly to the foundation.

And then there’s the watch itself…

That bright teal aluminium bezel hits very differently down here, the wave-patterned dial catches the light beautifully, and looks completely at home next to the ocean.

A watch with a lot of personality and, hopefully, a small part to play in protecting the place that inspired it.

Looking to buy my first Christopher Ward

The watch comes with no box or papers but it’s a really nice watch in my opinion. I can’t find sale prices since it’s only one out of 300. I’m not trying to over pay. What’s a good price for a watch like this

CW Trident 30x30

New Trident 30x30 arrived today. I was skeptical at first when I first seen it. Since I have put it back in it's box, taken it back out and held it, played with it and simply admired it.

This is my second "luxury" watch and it and my Longines hydroconquest GMT compliment each other so well! I'm in love.

I must also say, the packaging is very, very premium so well done in that department as well CW!

Thoughts On 42mm On My Wrist?

The last one is not 42 mm… but I loved that integrated watch.

This was my first time really trying on watches and I’ve done a lot of Internet research. I’m hearing everybody is switching to smaller sizes, but I found myself really disappointed and not impressed when I looked at my wrist with a small smaller watch size.

I ended up gravitating most to the 42mm size which surprised me. I believe the last one is 41mm?

I know it doesn’t matter what others think and I should just get what I want but I am curious of people’s opinions since I’m new to the game.

CW Twelve Chrono: what do we think?

Used my white dial Twelve 38 on bracelet and rubber as the starting point to reimagine what a two-register subdial chrono version would look like.

I must say - I’m pleasantly surprised by how good it could look.

If CW made one and managed to keep the overall case dimensions the same, pretty sure I would buy one!

His & Hers

The Twelve in Polar dusk (36mm) and Midnight (38mm)

For the price I think these are truly some of the most eye-catching and pleasing watches there are. But of course CW had to pull another QC issue with the midnight where almost all my adjustable links were on one side of the bracelet. Luckily after sizing it doesn't sit off center but one more link and I'd have been in trouble.

That issue notwithstanding, I am truly obsessed with the midnight dial and it's exactly the size and dial I had hoped for when I sold my 40mm white
