Auto Attendant Shared Voicemail Management in the Teams Queues App

Authorized users and shared voicemail group members using Queues App can manage Auto Attendant voicemails from a centralized experience in Teams, alongside other Auto Attendants and Call Queues.

Key capabilities include:

- Centralized visibility into shared Auto Attendant voicemails
- Rich collaboration experiences for voicemail triage
- Resolution tracking with Unresolved, In Progress, and Resolved states
- Urgency indicators
- Filtering by status to help teams focus on what needs attention
- Support for significantly larger call history volumes (3000 call records)

All configuration can be done through the Teams Admin Center. When sending a call to shared voicemail, a shared call history template can now be assigned.

Queues App requires a Teams Premium license.

Automatic Recording for Call Queues

Automatic Recording for Call Queues is now generally available for all customers in the public cloud.

All inbound call queue calls can be recorded and transcribed with the recordings and transcripts stored in SharePoint.

Authorized users automatically have access to review the recordings and agents can also be given access.

Fully integrated with Shared Call History so Queues App users can easily access the recordings.

Access is also available through SharePoint.

Configuration is currently available through PowerShell and should be in the Teams Admin Center within the next couple of months.

For an overview of the feature, see Planning - Recording voice applications calls

For setup instructions, see Setup - Automatic Recording template for Call Queue

Auto Attendant Call Flow Visualizer

The Auto Attendant Call Flow Visualizer should now be available for all public cloud customers.

In Teams Admin Centre, navigate to Voice -> Auto attendants.

Select one of the Auto attendants listed on the summary page and then select the Call Flow visualizer button.

The call flow will be shown and can also be exported to PDF.

There’s still a lot of work to do here but I’m very appreciative of the work the TAC team has done on this first phase.

Get-CsCallQueue PowerShell cmdlet changes - Removing the Statistics line

Note: This has also gone out as Message Centre post # 1326261

We are planning to remove the statistics line from the Get-CsCallQueue PowerShell cmdlet output and I’m looking for your feedback on how this will impact your tenant.

If you are currently relying on this particular line of information for some important workflows in your tenant, please let me know that and how you’re using it. The official way to do this is through the actual Message Centre (MC) posting but you can DM me or, we can discuss here.

Currently targeting to role out this change in late August.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
