Feedback on my logo — illustration & graphic design activity
Hi everyone, looking for honest feedback on my personal brand logo. I’m a graphic designer and illustrator based in Belgium, working on my future independent identity called Tip Of Black.
The name comes from “blacktip shark” — an animal I’ve always loved drawing since I was little and that I used as a previous logo. So it felt natural to build around it.
The goal was an illustrated logo that represents both sides of my work. A wordmark will be added later — probably two versions, one more graphic for merch and one cleaner for client-facing use.
The shark silhouette is intentionally angular and dynamic, integrated into a vintage-style star shape. References are Y2K aesthetics, underground rave culture, and streetwear. I don’t want it to scream “realistic shark” — the intent is something abstract and graphic while keeping a slight mascot/pet vibe.
My work mostly orbits around rave, streetwear, sci-fi and vintage design. My illustration side leans toward concept art and sci-fi as well.
