Wisdom tooth surgery as an autistic patient

Hello, I (18, F, autistic) wore braces for a few years and now I’m scheduled to have all four wisdom teeth removed. I’m really anxious about the procedure, the follow-up care, and the healing process. We’re currently still figuring out which appointments my autism service dog and/or my parents can come to, that will make a huge difference for me. Overall, though, I’ve unfortunately found that doctors here (I’m from Germany) have sometimes little interest in understanding or supporting patients with special needs. Does anyone have any tips or stories to share with me (anything would help 🤍)?

Baby toys for Dogs

When he was a puppy, we bought him a play arch (for babies), and he still loves it. 🥹 Do your dogs like baby toys that much, too?

I worked on the 3D printer with my little boy today (he is my assistance dog), and I think he looks so proud in his safety goggles 🥹

Autism service dogs/ESAs

Hi, I have an autism service dog myself. I have some special interests related to my dog, and I get the feeling that many people on the autism spectrum with service dogs or emotional support animals feel the same way. How about you? Are your dogs -or topics related to them- your special interests?
