I was wondering why Alt Nation seems to be playing Edge of the Earth a bit more lately and I'd even caught it on Hits 1 the other day, which seems crazy.

It turns out it's prominently used in streaming series Off Campus. It actually makes Billboard's Alternative Airplay (which only tracks terrestrial radio) at #35 this week, almost 3 years after its release.

Not mad at it at all, I love the song and it was one of my favorite songs of 2024.

Are there any bands or artists that Alt Nation played in the last few years that you got really into and thought would end up huge? Or at least have a bunch of songs on Alt Nation in rotation by this point but just sorta vanished?

I'll start: Blu DeTiger. Super attractive woman that plays bass? Seems like a no brainer, and Vintage was a fairly big song for her on the station a few years ago but I'd not heard of anything since. Seems that she's ended up as a studio/touring bassist for a bunch of bigger names, which, still, good for her, but I thought she'd have a string of songs on the station.

I would have also said Holly Humberstone, but she dropped an album this year and To Love Somebody is a big hit right now, and I had Hits 1 on on the way home today and they were interviewing her.
