I've recently gotten into cybersecurity a few months ago and attempted to do 4 easy boxes today on hackthebox; I failed them all. None of my exploits worked, and I got so wound up that I just gave up and quit. This has never really happened to me before, and I usually rely on walkthroughs/guided mode in order to get through even the most simplest boxes. I rely off of AI as well to curate myself roadmaps, and even use it to progress through boxes. If there is any advice you guys have, please tell me.

I’m about 4 months into hacking, and I just can’t seem to get good at enumeration. it’s so boring… the worst part is the directory brute forcing. is there any way where it becomes second nature or fun? thanks.

Hey everyone.

I've been having issues with waking my computer from sleep mode; I need to wonder how to either just turn off my display, or somehow fix it. I was unable to boot my computer for maybe 30 minutes, only to discover that it booted back up once I plugged it into a USB-C port for charging. I use a Macbook M2, and I used to run Fedora 44 on it, but I have since wiped it from my computer because I feared that it may happen again. Any suggestions? I've really been missing the Linux experience. It feels soooo much better than mac.

Hey guys. I've recently watched the 'God-Tier Cybersecurity Roadmap' by Madhat and was wondering about the thoughts for his roadmaps, specifically the third option, which goes CCNA>CISSP>CCD>Programming>CPTS>OSEP>OSCP>CWEE>OSEE etc... I'm interested in Web App pentesting, but this does seem like it's more general and not specific towards what I wish to do. My current plan is eJPT>BSCP>OSCP>CWEE>OSEP. Thanks!
