Nicollo Machiavelli, who wrote the Prince, said in the book that it was far much better to be feared than loved. Fear creates obedience while love leads to betrayal. Indeed, when you are loved there are no boundaries and the relationship is short-lived but when you are feared, there is respect and loyalty. Do you agree or Disagree?
How many of us are able to rely on their enemies for their end goal? How can one engage with an enemy when they are surrounded by so many people who purpot to be friends and are more convenient to deal with. Somebody please explain this concept.
Do not seem like you know more than your superiors. Showing of too much of your skills puts you at risk and you are a ripe candidate of replacement. No superior wants to always be looking over their shoulder. Therefore, do not give your master any reason to feel insecure. This is a lesson in humility and also one that encourages submission.
