Finally upgraded irons and wedges after playing gifted clubs for 15 years
Have been waiting and waiting to get fitted and finally pulled the trigger. Landed on G440 irons and Vokey SM11 wedges. As a very tall guy I am eager to get out there and hopefully start playing better with clubs that fit. I have next to zero knowledge on clubs but the fitter was very thorough and I learned a lot. I was hesitant to get fitted since I shoot around 100 each round. I would encourage folks to try it though especially if you are taller. He grabbed my previous 7i and immediately shook his head that it was all wrong for me. That alone was good to know.
The Vokeys came in after only one week and the Pings took less than 2 weeks.
Any idea what the heck that 3 wood thing is in my bag? Thats my defacto driver ironically. Need to start figuring out driver next.
Open to any advice you might have.
