This was a fun portrait. I mostly used the airbrushing brushes. I have a taper soft airbrush I customized that I like for finer details. And I blend with the soft airbrush as well. I build everything up with lots, and lots, of layers lol.

One of the last slides shows how little detail you need for a background. I just laid out colors and angles, before blurring it all to give that out of focus city background. Sometimes you don’t have to overthink it all lol☺️.

“Simulation Theory” psychedelic drawing by me

I really enjoy doing otherworldly drawings like this. I work on a large scale canvas to limit how much pixelation you could see when printed on large posters. I use a soft airbrush that i tweaked to have a pressure tapper. I also use studio pen, and the light pen luminance brush.

I usually use a lot of layers, so to complete this piece I had approximately 4-5 different canvases I was working on each element separately. I condensed everything at the end and create the finally image.
