So when I try to simulate clothing on this denim jacket model from CGTrader it implodes??

So basically I just uploaded the .fbx file, scaled it, turned on sewing in the cloth simulation and ran a test simulation... and this is what I got. I have almost 0 experience with cloth simulation so what am I doing wrong here?
