Recommened recordings by “bad” orchestras?

I don’t mean to make fun or anything like that, or to be mean and/or cruel. Also, I don’t mean parodies or students practicing. But I would like to listen recordings of orchestras that are not particularly good, in order to compare and notice a bigger contrast with the elite, world-class symphonic orchestras we all know and love. (And everything in between!)

For the sake of simplicity, let’s say something from the core repertoire (Brahms, Beethoven, Dvořák late symphonies etc). Thank you 🙏

Relocation to Germany under §38a AufenthG (Can someone please help me?)

Hello! I have the EU long-term resident status from a different EU-country. So, I am not a European citizen but a European resident. I want to find a job and relocate to Germany within the EU-mobilty rules. Legally, it's fully possible within its respective law.

A few things: yes, I know that I cannot simply move to Germany and start working and that my rights are not the same a a European citizen. I know that a specific permit for Germany is required and I cannot work without it.

Now my question: What does an employer actually have to do to hire me? What are the exact stesp? (Which additional steps compared to hiring a European?). How long would it take to effectively be able to start working after submitting the request?

The thing is, I really struggle to sell myself to emplyers, because they think "not European = complicated -> let's avoid it".

So I want to know how it is, realistically, and I welcome any tips on how to present things, how to explain it and so on. My biggest issue at the moment is that I don't even reach a human being and the rejections I get are all generic/AI-generated, so I don't even know if (and how much) all this plays a role. Any tips and info are welcome. Thank you!!

How is living in Munich, Germany in 2026?

Yes, it’s expensive and finding accommodation is hard (please don’t mention that, I know it already). How is daily life living there all year round?
