9 Week Kitten has positive SNAP & IFA

We got a kitten from the humane society, he was 9 weeks, 1 day when we got him. We immediately put him in isolation in our office and took him to the vet the next morning. He had a faint positive on the SNAP so we proceeded with the IFA. Our vet called today and confirmed it came back positive. The lab can use the same sample for the PCR so we've approved that.

We have two 14-year old littermates, female orange tabbies, who have had regular vaccinations but their last felv was in 2020. They are indoor only. I keep finding conflicting information about odds of him being able to live with our girls. Has anyone gone through this and how did you navigate it?

We notified the humane society immediately as they have his mom and littermates still. Mom was brought in pregnant and was fostered with her babies immediately after giving birth. Kitten only returned to the shelter 5 days before we got him so that he could be fixed and cared for.

I'm super nervous for our existing girls and just want to cry over his diagnosis. He is over isolation and our girls try to comfort him at the door when he cries. We've had to put a blanket under the door to keep them from going nose to nose.
