The 78th Class as Remnants

Suggested by u/Embarrassed_Swan_147. Thanks, this was a fun project :)

This took me over a month, but I'm finally done! Below are some of my interpretations of them and what they've done.

With the law no longer a concern, Genocider Syo has taken over as the main personality, and proudly displays her growing kill count.

Kiyotaka has seized control of Japan's governing body, turning it into a ruthless dictatorship that bows to his rule.

Using her intelligence for evil, Kyoko no longer focuses on cracking unsolvable cases, but creating them. She seems to have discarded those gloves she used to wear...

Celestia rules the criminal underworld with an iron fist, taking the wealth of all and forcing them into servitude. It seems that even now, Hifumi can't help but grovel at her side. It's better that you don't ask where her fur collar came from.

Byakuya, too, stands in a position of great power as he overtakes everything he can in the name of the Togami Conglomerate.

Instead of growing stronger like he once aspired for, Chihiro obsesses over his technology, even giving up walking altogether in favor of a motorized chair. Using scans of Junko's brain, he recreated her as an AI.

Though her shows once spread joy, Sayaka uses her platform as a place to spread despair propaganda. The worst part of it all? She's been touring with Leon Kuwata, of all people.

Yasuhiro has blinded himself as a show of loyalty to despair. Now, he trusts solely in his clairvoyant abilities to guide him (he frequently walks into walls).

There weren't actually any specific ideas behind Mondo, Sakura, and Aoi. They just do miscellaneous terrorism, I guess.

For better or for worse, Makoto was the sole person who was able to overcome the initial brainwashing and cling to hope. Instead, he was fitted with a Monokuma helmet and is forced to serve as a plaything to Ultimate Despair.

Of course, Mukuro is at the center of it all as Junko Enoshima's right hand woman. She doesn't actually change from canon at all, I just wanted to draw Mukuro.

At least, that's what I think. If anyone has other ideas, I'd love to hear them. If you read all that, you're officially cool.

I re-created John Danganronpa's sprite so we'd have a clearer version

I expect not to have access to their actual sprites for a while, and it would suck to be stuck using the blurry screenshot for everything. Of course, since the screenshots so blurry this is imperfect and probably missing some details, but I did what I could.

A group of Hundred Line OCs I've been cooking up

This is somewhat of a different kind of post for me since I've posted almost exclusively sprite edits on this account for several years, but I'm pretty proud of these, so I decided to share them here.

Though originally slated to fight in the Main Campus, Sirei made a last-minute decision on his own to station four of his students in the field to carry out direct attacks against the invaders. Before they awoke, he sent them along with a lower-ranking AI named Kaigo out into the ruins on a school bus. (Kaigo specialized in maintaining the Revive-O-Matic and making sure students were fit to be fighting, but Sirei deemed him redundant...)

The fifth member, a scavenger named Renqa, had been on his own in the ruins after being separated from his family in a monster attack. Renqa would ultimately join their ranks and fight alongside them thanks to prototype artificial class armor that Kaigo had brought along.

Unfortunately, the Field Unit would prove to be less of a success than Sirei had hoped for. They lacked the information, firepower, and immortality of the Campus units, and so they rarely made meaningful dents in the invader army. In most timelines, they would fail to survive to the 100 day mark, and if they did, they would still be fending for themselves without support from the other Units or any of the higher-ups.

Perhaps not the most heroic story, but I think it's fine to have OCs that aren't crazy powerful or out-there. This is much more of a tragic found family tale, which I find more compelling anyhow. If you read this far, thank you! What do you think? Making OCs is something of an unfamiliar territory for me, so I'm interested to see what people think of these losers.

I didn't make enough happy sprites for her in the first two batches, so I decided to remedy that. As always, feel free to use with credit and enjoy!
