Inquiry about camera car operation
So as the title states I have a question about camera car operation. I run a chase camera car op, w/ a camera operator and 1st ac. However due to my cam op traveling a fair bit I have some down time between jobs. I was talking with other videographers in the automotive sphere about possibly doing a for hire service for freelancers looking to do work with a chase car that don't have access to one, other projects, and just earning some more income when I don't have inside work. They said they think it's a good idea, and I'm considering it so now I'm here.
I'm running a supercharged mustang dark horse, Tilta Hydra Alien Pro, Dji Ronan 2, etc., etc.. Fully insured (yes even with that policy), can get the correct permits, etc. What are some of the technical constraints I need to worry about? How should I price? Etc. What would be fair? Doing free work is not an option, I would just not run if it was. Also looking for other general feedback on this idea.
