I bought a Halo xbox series x off mercari that was advertised as working with no fault. I booted it, downloaded some games and played a while and it seemed ok so I rated it. Tried a disc later that night, only to find out the disc drive is shot. I am reaching out here to see my options here. I would rather not have to try and return it, and and fight an uphill battle so I am thinking of having it serviced. Would I be able to get a refund on the difference with receipts for repair? Or is just returning it the best bet?
