How/when does one find out if they’ve received a bursary?

Hi all,

I applied for the $1000 OL bursary, and I was wondering how I would find out that I’ve received it? It is my understanding that they are announced at the convocation, but do I find out ahead of time?

I find this a bit confusing, so any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

I have my first rheumatology appointment next week - how do I prepare?

Hello!
Newish member and first time poster.

I am wondering how to prepare for my first rheumatology appointment next week. I have immediate family member with AS, a positive HLBA-27 gene test, and over a decades worth of chronic pain, but I’m not sure if that is enough.

Do I make a list of symptoms and when they started? It could be a long, long list. If I know my triggers (I think I’ve nailed it down) do I write those out as well? How prepared should I be?

I also have to drive 4 hours to get there and have been in the middle of what I’ve realized is likely a flare up, so that is going to cause a ton of pain but maybe it’s for the best for the appointment? Not entirely sure.

Anyway, sorry for rambling. Just trying to wrap my head around this. If anyone has tips or advice on how I should prepare, please let me know!

Thanks so much everyone

HLTH 4411 - what should I expect for the final exam?

Hi all,

I am taking the final exam for HLTH 4411 in two days. The course says it is true or false questions and a few short answer questions.

I have a hard time studying in general, and even more so with studying true or false questions.
I was wondering if anyone has taken the exam recently and if they could tell me about their experience.
Thank you!

*adding this because my post was flagged for not being about TRU after I clicked post? Weird. Anyway, it’s about TRU I promise

Hi all,

For anyone looking for an upper level OL course to finish quickly - I recommend ENVS 3991.
I finished the course in just under a month while working part time, and as a mom of two. I finished with an A-! The course itself is a bit outdated, but it was an easy go. If you want to complete something quick, or boost your GPA, I definitely recommend this course. Also, the professor Robyn is great. Fair and quick marking, and she is also quick to reply.
Thanks to whoever recommended it to me!
