I just went down a really funny rabbit hole thanks to Eternals.
Remember, for civilians in the MCU, all MCU events actually happened ultron, the battle of new york, Thanos, and so on... They didn't experience them as movies, but as their reality.
Now, in Eternals it's confirmed that Superman exists, so we can assume DC Comics, the DCEU, and the DCU exist as well.
As everyone knows, the Battle of New York happened in 2012. If DC exists in the MCU... Man of Steel came out in 2013... A year after the Battle of New York. Does that mean Zack Snyder and Warner in the MCU had to make changes to Man of Steel because there was an alien invasion just the year before? You know, when 9/11 happened, movies like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man had to remove promotional material referencing the Twin Towers, and the same thing happened with Zoolander... In the MCU, Man of Steel would have been super controversial, but since the script was finalized in 2011, people in the MCU would probably have seen it as some kind of prediction or bad timing.
And it gets better. If we take it even further, in 2016 the Sokovia Accords were made public, and that exact same year Batman v Superman came out. The plot of BvS is about a billionaire who fears someone with the power of a god... Sound familiar? Yeah... Exactly... Another controversial movie to add to the list. We know the final script for BvS was finished in 2014, years before Ultron and the Accords, so... another awkward prediction for the list.
And if we go even further, Justice League (Joss Whedon version) for those who haven't seen it, that movie was about an alien with an army searching for powerful artifacts on Earth to conquer the universe... Sound familiar? Yeah... Thanos arrived a few months later with his army looking for the Infinity Stones. At this point, I think the average MCU civilian would believe DC has powers to predict the future or something.
And if we keep pulling that thread, in 2018's Aquaman, Arthur's brother wants to unite the underwater kingdoms to attack the surface... Sound familiar? Yeah, years later in the MCU, it would be discovered that Namor exists, that he has an underwater city of people adapted to live underwater, and that he wants to ally with Wakanda to... attack the surface...
It's a really funny rabbit hole if you stop to think about it. Sorry if I said anything wrong or if there are any typos, I'm still learning English, so I used a translator to help me
