Wife and I are trying to finalize a trip in the area, first week of August. Wife I guess came across the Red Tide risk. I've looked back at old posts during this time in previous years. I know nothing is ever a guarantee but how big of a risk is this during early August?

Any recs? We're in our mid to late 30's. We enjoy the beach over everything else and good food. We wouldn't be into the party aspect. We just had a family vacation rained out so figured we'd give it another shot with just us 2 in early August. Open to other options as well!
