i’m currently just an aspiring actuary whose just beginning to weigh my options and plan out my path in the field and which tests I want to take. your average college student basically, however, I’m currently studying and living in america and will be for quite a few years despite wanting to eventually move to the UK or switzerland when finances allow. I don’t really know what to do because i have to start working in the states and that requires passing tests by the CAS or SOA but finding work in europe (atleast with certainty) they prefer the IFoA tests. is there any work around? similarities? i don’t want to wait years to become a fellow and then move to europe and i don’t want to go down the american system with hundreds of hours of study and find it obsolete when i go to find work abroad
