I don't have anywhere else to talk about this. Linda Schuyler has a new documentary about homeless people in Toronto called Home.
While I'm sure she handled the topic of homelessness sensitively and the documentary will be interesting, the article is a little tone deaf when it points out that she owns TWO homes.
Every time she makes a high pitched squealing noise, I want to tear my ears out.
If she doesn't want to ne compared to a farm animal, not squealing like a pig is a good place to start.
This is just something weird I noticed, and this is the only place I can talk about it!
I marked this as NSFW because the dress is pretty revealing. I guess that store (Forplay) must have been a sponsor, and not just for that one episode. I saw variations of that dress on several of the girls.
Daisy wore it in the store on her date with Bret, and on Daisy of Love. I think there must be a swimsuit version because Megan is wearing one in S2 and Daisy wears it in the hot tub with Big Rig, or something very much like it.
Ambre wears it in S2.
Heather wears it as her "favourite outfit" in Charm School.
Brittany wears it in S3 when she visits Bert while he's working out.
These are the only ones I've caught so far, but I imagine there are more.
The girls bring their own clothes, but I can't believe this look was so popular that a bunch of them all bought the same dress and brought it to filming. It does make me wonder how the producers decided who gets the dress.
Did anyone else not receive OTB today? It's possible I'll get it Monday but it seems everyone else got theirs. I bank with TD, if that makes a difference.
I'm also concerned they may have cut me off. According to government math, even though I only worked five months in 2024 and not at all in 2025, I still made too much money between EI and OW/ODSP, so they cut the CDB down from $152 to $140, and the princely sum of $41 I was getting from OTB seems to be cut, too. But I thought I was supposed to get $30 and I got nothing.
Has anyone else run into something like this?
