caitlin was obviously a weirdo for sleeping with a student but Ellie doing what she did was so stupid, like genuinely because if you thought that Caitlin knew about you two, she would just react so nonchalantly and talk to you like it was nothing? I’m pretty sure if she was being a side chick on the low, she’d be surprised and trying to her hardest to explain to Ellie but she literally was treating it like gossip because she didn’t know about Ellie and Jesse.

Ellie is just dumb sometimes, she has every right to be upset and I know she was drunk but like do you really think Caitlin would be so relaxed about you catching her and Jessie if she knew about ellie? like

I don't have anywhere else to talk about this. Linda Schuyler has a new documentary about homeless people in Toronto called Home.

While I'm sure she handled the topic of homelessness sensitively and the documentary will be interesting, the article is a little tone deaf when it points out that she owns TWO homes.

Just curious on which (US) states the Degrassi fans are from? Is there anyone out there not in Canada or the US? I am in South Texas, personally! 💖

okay i’m rewatching degrassi rn and i remember VIVIDLY a scene where ashley reads her poem to the class after she goes through her goth transformation and spinner and jimmy start like pretending to cut their wrists to make fun of her. i just passed the episode where she reads her poem to the class and that just doesn’t happen??? did i totally make this up? does anybody else remember this? is it later in the show? i’m losing my minddd

Which character or story arc resonated the most for your own life and experience? Did it give you insight or comfort?

For me it was probably Maya's grief. Mostly because of how realistic it was. It's hard to connect and express yourself and be the person people expect.
