Downton Bloody Abbey, I am talking about you. It started perfectly well as a costume ensemble, but it went off the rails as soon as it reached the 1920's. Then, Anna and Bates' constant tragedy porn storylines started taking over the narrative, as well as Mary, Tom and the younger staff's constant relationship drama turned me off of the later seasons. I always skip to s6, in subsequent rewatches.

Poldark is also tragedy porn central for me. I stopped watching at the beginning of s2 and never looked back.
