The "empowering" lingo of kink and porn...

Some women will swear upon their lives that bdsm is empowering. However, off the top of my head, here are some terms used for submissive women in kink and porn: the b-slur, the w-slur, sex doll, fleshlight, s-slur etc.

Tell me now, how is fetishising and deriving pleasure from such rampant misogyny acceptable?

It's disgusting to see men say this but somehow worse when it's women.

Because since women are kinda the "good ones" compared to men, when women say certain very concerning things if feels worse, because aren't you supposed to be different?

I gotta away from believing women are the "good ones".

But sometimes I still fall into bias..

But this isn't to say women are worse, it's just like that when someone is deemed to be the better person and the turn out to be bad too, it's kinda a shocker.

so tired of this

We shouldn’t marrow our fantasies when it comes to vore incest and pedophilia just because it affects people!! And we should fight against the censorship because you want to get off on this.. Right

Fake goth women who exploit the subgenre to pander to depraved men should be shamed

IDGAF they know exactly what they are doing and it is hurting the goth community and young women + girls who are starting their journey in the alt community.

People act like these women are innocent creatures who are just at the mercy of men's whims and that they have no control over their choices.

Sure there is a demand for it but it doesnt mean they need to cater to these perverts. Without supply, demand lowers lets be real.

" I didn't know her age "

This man and many men constantly expose themselves without realizing.

This man said that he makes sure the women he sleeps with aren't under 18,but that if a hot girl tells him she's an adult,he wouldn't investigate it, because he's only human.

To me,it sounds like he would sleep with someone he knows is too young but when he gets caught he will say " she lied" fully knowing he didn't care to find out.

I doubt many men actually care about accidentally sleeping with a child..

Sounds crazy but seems to be more true by the day.🤷‍♀️

Why do we encourage BDSM & CNC for victims of SA? (Trigger warning)

I’m struggling and I really need some advice from sane people. A week ago when I was on holiday I was SAd.

I met a guy on holiday. At first I wanted to hook up with him but when it turned out he had no condom I changed my mind. He didn’t care. During he started doing all this kinky shit without asking because guys my age (I’m 24) are pornsick. He tried to penetrate me anally and I said no. He tried again. He wanted to film us and I said no. He tried to convince me. He started pulling my hair and hitting me and I said no. So he held me down and started hitting me again. I tried pushing him off me, I kept saying stop and suddenly he did. He saw I was having a panic attack and he seemed genuinely surprised?? Didn’t stop him from trying to guilt me tho. Absolute asshole.

I was raped when I was 19 and it absolutely traumatised me. I only came to terms with it this year after going through treatment. So at least I’m more educated this time and self aware. Here’s the thing. My reaction to this sort of thing is apparently hypersexuality. I’m masturbating a lot. To things that usually disgust me. Horrible men trying to force me. I feel so disgusting. When I told my therapist about this during trauma therapy his first reaction was to say that I shouldn’t feel shame. That BDSM and CNC can actually really help victims. (Where’s the data to prove this btw?) And that if I get off to it why not keep doing it. I feel like that’s the popular view in society.

I feel like that’s horrible advice. It doesn’t help me. It makes me hate myself. It gives me nightmares. It makes everything worse and it goes against everything I believe in. I was able to quit doing it after my first trauma and I felt so much more at peace. I was only masturbating to consensual fantasies with women and I felt happy after doing so. Unfortunately I fell back into my old coping mechanism after being SAd last week. But I want to quit again. If anyone has been in a similar situation or some advice for healthy coping mechanisms I’d really appreciate it <3

No, dominatrix (femdom) is NOT an empowering role.

A lot of the times, dommes simply serve fantasies of men; it's still male centric. On the rare occasions it isn't male-centric, the fact doesn't change that they're still upholding a subculture built heavily on misogyny and romanticisation of violence against women.

they Have to stop with this argument..

They said they understood, but somehow, they also don't understand, and also didn't seem to care enough to ask for clarification. Even if reading large paragraphs is difficult, they could've just copy pasted my argument in a notes app to separate it better. And they didn't even refute the points I made, so what's the deal? 💀

If opposing systems built on oppression also counts as oppression, then we're left at a standstill.

Psychology subreddits are full of the most porn sick men

The comment in red also pointed out how weird it was that these guys are putting their hands on women's necks out of nowhere and this guy is just like "WHELP doesn't surprise me when SOOOO many women like it."

I truly believe CNC as a term was invented as a type of double speak to normalize and soften rape

CNC and romanticization of rape is RAPE CULTURE.

We are being brainwashed into accepting rape as a normal thing that people enjoy

I’m so sick of the goth community recycling the same BS about porn and SW

I can’t count the amount of “online” goths who speak up about the fetishization of their subculture yet firmly stand behind fetish culture and sex work, when these industries profit off of the fetishization and sexualization of alt/goth women. I made a rant about this particular problem many months ago but it still irks me to my core. I’ve considered myself goth since I was 9 but had no idea it was so intertwined with these industries. Had I known, I don’t think I ever would’ve called myself goth and it makes me sad to say that.

What I find odd about goths is the majority of them will bash conservatives for being “puritanical prudes,” which many of them are, yet if anyone (including other goths) tries to call them out on supporting industries known to support and harm women, suddenly, you’re also a puritanical prude along with a poser. These goths will also claim to be very liberal/open, yet they’re so close-minded and set in their ways regarding kink, BDSM, fetish, and SW. If new information is presented about an industry you support, then why shut it down, especially when the information is thoroughly explaining why said industry is harmful and exploitative?

And to say that if you want “goth porn” you should get it “ethically sourced”…There is NO such thing as ethical porn. Claiming that you can “ethically source” porn in the big 2026 is insane 🥱

They are SO close to getting it

I’m so glad that more and more women are waking up to the romanticization of violence in smut literature. However, this argument totally missed the mark when she stated that “BDSM isn’t the same thing as super violent sex,” because BDSM is often a major theme in “dark romance” novels, as well as a driving force behind sexual violence, even if it’s “consensual.” Porn and BDSM often go hand-in-hand with normalizing violence against women, and are both inherently patriarchal industries. Porn promotes violence, while BDSM romanticizes it and normalizes it by throwing “consent” into the mix to redeem the abusers-or “dommes” from harm. If more people understood that BDSM is a part of the problem then we’d genuinely have a revolution against porn and violence against women altogether 😭

These people can never give a sold answer/argument.

I made a post about people using legality to justify dating late teens and here are some of the comments.

First picture is my post.

A conversation about ageplay.

Like I said, it's the concept, whether they're actually attracted to children or not.

They're still engaging in the traits of pedophilia especially if they post it online.

(Sorry for my grammar in the messages).

u/hardtruthsociety — 2 days ago

All they literally have to do is lock/flag their accounts as NSFW to avoid this lmao

That or move to a porn site?? Like I know the point is that a majority of these people are deranged enough to either think their kinks are an inherent part of them (and somehow not nsfw) or they get off to exposing non-consenting people to NSFW but seriously; the "bans" they freak out about are only happening because they directly tag their fetish porn with tags associated with children's content which WILL show up in a search/recommended section because they DIRECTLY tag it as such!

Am I wrong or just being gaslight?

I made a post about a movie where it's about a high school girl sleeping with an older man.

She didn't tell him her age but he was at a college party with teenagers.

My whole post was about how this movies are made to justify or romanticize predators dynamics but they do it in a sneaky way, saying how the girl is 18 or turning 18.

I will make another Post showing the comments but here's one.

And the only nuance she was talking about is girls lying about their age.

A relatively minor gripe...

I've noticed how porn has trickled subtly but so well into our day to day life. Of course we're aware of the obvious negative attitudes and behaviours underpinned by porn, but the minor undercurrents aren't all that addressed, mainly how lingo adapted from porn has become somewhat commonplace.

For instance, the very word "porn" is now used to indicate/imply something pleasurable, esp. in the sense "pleasing to the eye" - affixed even in non sexual contexts (for eg "food porn"). It's very off putting, actually; such an uncomfortable experience to watch something this damaging be normalised, accepted and covertly romanticised.
