Can’t get into their newer albums

I’ve been listened to this band ever since Team Dream came out. I really liked the album but my god, when I discovered Devotion it was as if a totally new musical dimension opened up to me. Same goes for their first album. Got me strongly emotionally attached.

Seems I am attracted to the unpolished, raw and haunting style of their initial albums. And as much as I try to listen to the other albums, it just doesn’t hit home the same way. Don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate them and will put them on once in a while.. but it feels at times almost synthetic.

Curious to hear your opinions on their first two to three albums and if you also noticed that apparent split in style.

Hi, so I finally saved enough money to buy the watch I’ve been longing for: the sapphire sandwich. Although I can afford buying it brand new (it retails here for around €8700), it feels like a crazy amount of money and at times i have difficulty justifying spending that much on a watch. But at the same time, it just doesn’t sit right with me to buy it pre owned as this is quite a symbolic and personal purchase to me. Wondering how others went about making the decision
