Old man yells at clouds
43 year old gamer, love NES, SNES, and pc gaming.
Been playing some version of WOW since original TBC.
While I love tbc and wow anniversary, I just don’t know that I can continue to do it. The culture is different this go around, and there’s no challenge or reason to be any less then mediocre it seems. I help run a guild and we struggle to get people to gem or enchant gear they receive as well as proper consumables. The player base seems to be a bunch of tourists on a field trip through the past.
I’m really debating what direction to go with my gaming. My pc is old (i5-6600k, gtx 1070 ect) seriously debating moving back into the console gaming world, or a new pc rig. I do own a switch2 and it doesn’t really click with me the way I liked my switch one for some reason.
I’m considering Xbox vs ps5 vs new pc or Xbox rog ally x.
Work has gotten very stressful and I don’t want to deal with morons when I’m supposed to be relaxing. I have no real affiliation to any of the console companies. I do have retro game collections including most major manufacturers.
TLDR: old man yells at clouds. Looking for a recommendation for possibly a new gaming platform and advise from people in similar situations
