Need advice for seeding a plant

I've managed to grow a chilli pepper from a seed I took out of a store bought chilli. It's started fruiting (year 2 of it growing)

How long should I leave the fruits on to get useable seeds out of them and how would I know?

Reason is, I'd like to regrow it from a new offspring seed in hopes to get a more acclimatised variant.

Cat laser pointer

Going a bit unconventional by sticking broadside beams on a fighter, just cause I want my cat ship to be laser pointing enemies to oblivion.

What do you think? What would maybe some of you change. (Fleet I'm in doesn't have a big enough shipyard to get the fleet version yet, we're working on it, the two only active members of our fleet :D )
