I was in a car accident last week, non fault, and my car was written off. Because of the optional extra winter pack it went to an independent valuation engineer. They've just called me and my jaw dropped at the low amount! Ive scoured autotrader and cant find a single one, regardless or condition and mileage for less that 5300 with the winter pack but they've only offered me 3,700. The insurance have said they have to pay that out because it's from the independent person and then raise a valuation complaint separately that could lead to further pay out. Has anyone done this successfully and uplifted their pay out amount?
